Blueprints & Breakfast with Goldman Sachs

Please join us for the third in our 2025 Women in Infrastructure (WIN) NYC Bi-Monthly Breakfast Series - "Infra Mornings"! The event is open for attendance by individuals of all backgrounds.

Breakfast will be hosted by Goldman Sachs and will feature a discussion on macroeconomic views in the current environment. Our special guest is Joseph Briggs, Goldman Sachs Managing Partner, GS Investment Research.

Joseph co-leads the Global Economics team within Global Investment Research at Goldman Sachs. Prior to his current role, he worked on the US Economics team. Before joining the firm, Joseph was a senior economist at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, where he monitored economic and financial developments and conducted research. His written work has been published in leading academic journals like the Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Financial Economics and American Economics Journal: Macroeconomics, as well as the FEDS working papers. Joseph also previously taught economics and finance at New York University and John Hopkins University.

We will discuss the impact of recent policies, tariffs and trade flows on infrastructure development and investment. We will also discuss macroeconomic perspectives on the current environment, including interest rate trends, inflation, and global supply chain shifts. Together, these topics offer insight into the evolving risks and opportunities for navigating today’s complex economic and geopolitical landscape.

Please come hungry and promptly at 8:00am! If you cannot make it, please provide at least one day's notice of cancellation - we expect a Waitlist for this event.
