Gianluca leads InfraRed’s research function, providing deep insights and analysis across the infrastructure asset class for the investment community.

His primary responsibilities include supporting InfraRed’s investment platform with independent macro and market analysis, as well as contributing to the development of new products and strategies.

Before joining InfraRed in 2024, Gianluca was Head of Portfolio Strategy and Research at ADIA, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, where he worked across private and listed infrastructure equity, debt, and funds.

Prior to his role at ADIA, he was Head of Infrastructure Research at DWS for eight years, and also spent a number of years working at Fitch Ratings and Standard & Poor’s.

He has more than 17 years of experience in the infrastructure sector.
